• Provide and improve the Service
• Display your profile and listening activity to other users

We do not sell your personal information. Your listening data and reviews are visible to other Gatefold users as part of the social features of the Service (public profiles, feeds, album pages).

4. Third-Party Services

Gatefold uses third-party music data services to fetch album metadata and cover art. When you search for albums, your search queries are sent to these services. We do not share your personal account information with these services.

If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account ID and email address. We do not access any other Google account data.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard practices. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. We use HTTPS for all connections and store data in a managed PostgreSQL database.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. Cookies

Gatefold uses a single HTTP-only session cookie ("rl-session") to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party advertising cookies.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your listening data

8. Children's Privacy
